Today, two articles appeared on AntCat that were published in Systematic Entomology. Both are from the group around P. Ward.
The first is a new phylogeny of the Amblyoponinae or Dracula ants. The second is about the discovery of an extant species of Spider ant, Leptomyrmex (Dolichoderinae), in South America and its implication to our understanding of its evolutionary history.
